SaferRoads Australia is accredited with VicRoads to carry out all types of Traffic Management Services in accordance with the Australian Standard AS1742.3-2002 and the Victorian Road Management Act 2004.

SaferRoads Australia maintain the safety of road workers, road users, pedestrians and crowds by providing appropriate Traffic Management Services to a range of clients including state and local governments, utility companies, major construction companies and event managers.

It is compulsory for all companies conducting works on the road reserve to have the appropriate Traffic Management Services in accordance with VicRoads or Councils before any on-road activity can commence.

Worksafe Inspectors and VicRoads Officers regularly audit work areas within the road reserve, and may shut down the worksite if deemed to be dangerous and issue the contractor a non-conformance or fine. It is a requirement by Local Government and VicRoads to submit Traffic Management Plan before a Permit is issued for all types of activities within the road reserve.
